[TONYMOLY] I'm Real Rice Smooth Toner: Review

Hello ladies!

I'm back again with another product review from my previous haul!

Remember when I reviewed the Tonymoly I'm real avocado rich cream? I said that I instantly fell in love with it and that I would buy another products from the same line (which I did), but honestly I wasn't impressed as I thought I would... maybe I had great expectations? Or was it just a coincidence? Well let's see.

Description and claims:
Contains rice bran with full of ceramide and vitamin to create bright and transparent skin.
Exfoliates gently to remain moisturising feeling for hours.
offers enriched moisturizing and resilient feeling to create healthy and energetic skin.
(R.I.P. English...)

Volume: 250ml

Ingredients:
Since we rarely find the full ingredients list in english, I decided to start creating one myself by trying to read the hangul and guess what it means (since those are english words written in Korean)

Purified water, rice water, alcohol, propanediol, butylene glycol, glycerin, rice bran extract, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil, pentylene glycol, octyl dodectyl seth-16, arginin, triethylhexanoin, diphenhyl dimethicone, Argan oil polyglyceryl-6 ester, polyglyceryl-10 myristate, carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Fragance.
Paraben, talc, triethanolamine, benzyl alcohol, sulfate surfactant, benzophenone, mineral oil, artificial colors free.

How to use?
After cleansing, pour a moderate amount to a cotton pad and apply like sweeping according to skin texture.

Expiration date: 12 months after opening the bottle.

Packaging:

It's a typical semi-transparent plastic bottle, with a silver plastic screw type cap.
The product's name along with rice bran drawing are printed on the front, while the ingredients and some extra information are printed on the back.

There is little plastic euh... how should I call it? A stopper? Well whatever its name is, that little plastic thingy prevents from accidentally spilling the toner out, and I like it!

Consistency, scent and performance:

Like almost every other toner, it's so watery.
When applied, it feels a little bit sticky for about 5-8 seconds, but once absorbed the stickiness fades away.
It has a light scent that I can't identify but it somehow remind me of babies... maybe it's just me.

And now the performance...
This toner is quickly absorbed and feels quite moisturising. Unlike the other toners, this one doesn't dry my skin out nor make if feel uselessly tight, but smooth and supple instead, a thing that I really appreciate.
I don't wear a lot of makeup and I double cleanse my face before applying it so I don't really know if it really does cleanse the remaining dirt or not.

For the first three days, my skin looked radiant and healthy but before I could enjoy it, I started breaking out T_T
I don't really know if it's because of this product or it's only a coincidence (I.e. the suddenly hot weather, le me not drinking enough water and being stressed out because of my studies), but it turned all of my excitement off.. I hope it's just a coincidence.

Now, lemme summarize.

Pros:

- Somehow hydrating and moisturising.
- Smooths the skin instead of drying it off.
- Quickly absorbed.
- The packaging is easy to use.
- all in all plastic which means light weight (travel-friendly) and no worries about a rusting metal cap.

Cons:

- Breaks me out, but if it isn't the reason I'm breaking out, it will be a great product.

Repurchase?

No.
