[BERRISOM] My Lip Tint Pack - Sexy Red : Review, swatch and fake product notice

Lip tints and lip tattoos are the trend nowadays, I'm addicted to lip tints myself  (even though I'm annoyed at how they tend to dry the lips emphasize the lip lines), but Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack the first lip tattoo I've ever tried.
It is a pretty popular lip tattoo, that gives you a semi permanent lip color, without being too drying. I was hesitating for a long time whether I try it or not, but I gave in when I found it on Wishtrend with a 50% discount.

Description and claims:
- Natural lip tint pack with unique formula.
- Does not smugde at all
- Turns your lip color in beautiful color within 5~10 minutes.

How to use:
- By follwing the lip line, cover the pack thick. *careful not to color on the outside of lip.
- Let it dry about 5 to 10 minutes. *Please avoid friction between lips.
- After about 5-10 minutes, from the end of the lip please remove pack slowly.
- Clear up all the pack (Putting on glossy lip make up would help your pretty look!)

Packaging:

Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack comes in a squeeze tube that is pretty easy to pinch, which means you can easily control the amount of product you wanna use.

The shades:
This lip tattoo comes in 9 different beautiful shades:

Among those 7 shades, I've only tried "Virgin Red"  that I already ran out of, and "Sexy Red" that I'm reviewing today.

The scent:
My mum says that it smells vagely like berries, but I think that it smells like a mixture of detergents and anesthesia products... maybe it's just me.

The performance:

Usually, I use a lip balm first since I have slihtly dry lips, wipe any residue off a few minutes later and then apply this lip tattoo. Make sure to apply it carefully to avoid getting it outta your lip line, and end up with a mess for a whole day.

When you first apply it, it looks messy and ugly, but once you peel it off, the outcome is pretty nice.
It peels off easily and doesn't hurt at all, unless you have dry patches or already sore lips, then you better stay away from this product otherwise you'll end up with bleeding lips.

For the sexy red one, its color is pretty similar to a famous lipstick in Morocco  (and most of arabic countries since its origins are from Saudi Arabia), I don't know its real name but we call it here "bouss la tkhaf" which literally means "kiss with no fears" since it doesn't come off xD
Here is the lipstick I was talking about:

If you know its real name, please lemme know.
And here is a swatch comparison, decide yourself:

Pretty similar right? Except for the opacity. Berrisom lip tint pack leaves a solid color, while bouss la tkhaf's color is more in the sheer side, that I had to apply many layers, but then, the out come depends on your lips' original color and how pigmented they are.

In my opinion, this lip tint do really live up to its promises, it doesn't dry out my already dry lips, the color lasts for a really long time (8~12 hours depending on how many times I bite my lips, lick them and pick at them... many bad habits of mine) and wears off nicely later.

Summary
Pros:
- Doesn't dry the lips as much as the other lip tints do
- Nice color that lasts for a long time
- Easy to peel off
- Wide range of colors
- Unique application.
Cons:
-  the application might be messy if you aren't careful
- Needs patience since you have to wait for 10 minutes.
- Needs a lot of product for a one time usage.

Would I repurchase it?
I'll probably try the other colors as well, and repurchase the Virgin Red one since I fell in love with it.

  5. Hi there! I have been quite a fan of lip tint lately but i'm still a lil bit afraid to use daring colored ones. I saw these on Gmarket a lot and kinda have the urge to give it a try but I was worried if the color came on too strong but after reading your post, it's not that bright and I thought the color is really sweet! I will give this a try definitely ^^

    1. I had the same concern when I first bought it, but it didn't turn out to be a bright flashy color as I thought it would, maybe because my lips aren't that pigmented already.
Glad my review was helpful ^^
