[LEI LANI] Pink Mochi Nose Clear Pack, Blackhead Out 3-Step Kit: Review

Hello lovelies!
How are you all doing? We finally came back to uni and resumed our studies... It's been barely a week and I'm already dead tired.

Today I have another review of a product that I've recieved a long time ago as one of wishtend's monthly free gifts (check this month's free gift and how to get it here).
I usually tend to avoid using nose strips too often, sincr I've heard it can actually irritate and enlarge the pores. But it's been months since I've last used one, and my nose has accumulated quite a bit of ugly blackheads, so yeah!

Description and claims:

Pink Mochi Nose Clear Pack is composed of a 3-step nose mask pack to effectively remove
blackheads. First step is to open up the pores for efficiently cleansing the blackheads.
Second step is to remove all the blackheads on your nose. The last step is to close up
the pores after the blackhead removal. By dividing the blackhead removing process into three parts,
Pink Mochi Nose Clear Pack ultimately cleanses out all blackheads and whiteheads.

Content:
3 nose strips:
STEP-1: Pore clearing
STEP-2: Blackheads clear
STEP-3: Pore tightening

How to use:

STEP-1 |After facial wash, apply STEP ONE on your dry nose. Leave the mask pack for 15~20 minutes and gently remove the mask. Remove the blackheads by cotton swab.

STEP-2 |Moistened the nose with water and apply STEP TWO after removing the transparent film. Leave it for 10~15 minutes until the mask is completely dry and then remove from the edge.

STEP-3 |Remove the transparent film from STEP THREE and put on the nose. Remove it after leaving it on for 5~10 minutes and gently dab to absorb the mask pack residue.

Packaging:
Quite cute right?

The performance:

The first step is a cotton nose mask that has a similar texture to facial sheet masks.

As you can see in the picture above, it contains quite a lot of product, the serum dripped all over the place when I took it out, and there was a lot left in the little bag, so me being me, I soaked some paper tissues in it and gave them to my brother to use them on his cheeks (since he has some few blackheads there) and for the 2nd step I gave him a tonymoly simple nose strip that he cut in half and before using it... I hate wasting products so yeah :3
When I placed it on my nose it felt nice and soothing, and as the time passed, I felt as if my nose was anesthetized. But there was no visual changes after using it.

The second step is like any regular nose pore strip with a pink side.

I moistened my nose as requested, and placed it on my nose, it fit perfectly.
I left it until it dryed and hardened and then peeled it off. As u can see on the pics above, there are less blackheads and gross residues on the strip than expected, and obviously less blackheads on my nose as well (some stubborn ones that I've never succeeded in taking out by only using nose strips are still there, but I got rid of the majority). There is also some white residue on my nose that I first mistook for my dry skin peeling again, but thankfully, it wasn't.

The third and last step is a pore minimizing step, and the strip feels like the lip gel patches (I'm not sure if I had to remove the white layer, but I did anyways xD)

This was also really wet and drippy, so I did the same trick as the 1st step obe :3
I loved how cooling this feels, but kept touching it since it felt as if it's avout to fall off. It provides a nice relief after peeling off the second step.
Afterwards, my nose looked cleaner, the white residues were no longer there and my nose smoother and less dry-looking. Another thing I couldn't understand is that even the remaining blackheads looked fewer than before. Were they open pores that I mistook for blackheads? I have no idea..

Summary
Pros:
- Unclogs the pores and removes blackheads.
- 3 steps for better results
- 3rd step soothes the skin and makes the nose feel smoother.
Cons:
- There are some blackheads left (but I can't expect a one time nose strips take everything out can I?)

  1. These sound good, I also tend to avoid peel off strips but the three step process looks very soothing for the nose lol
